Dense fog in Shenandoah. I knew what i wanted to capture, but could not quite get what I saw without using some Photoshop magic. Apologies to the purists.

Lots of trees grow in the vicinity of Pleasant Creek. The biggest ones grow on the banks above the creek. Smaller ones grow nearer the creek. My assumption is that flash floods periodically take out the trees growing nearer the creek.

I like including sunstars in shots to give a bit of interest. Sometimes it has a flare and this time combing a flare, a sunstar and a little different perspective. Not conventional composition but I like it.
